Cannabis and Me ….
A 4 week Programme that explores the links that exist between early life challenges; cannabis use; our relationships and our ongoing career prospects. Learning what issues and risks exist, and how to identify, manage and reduce them.
Scientific research shows us the huge negative effect long term cannabis use has on brain development, leading us to believe that we are somehow ‘different’ and negatively affecting our relationships with others. What starts out as a quick, easy solution, helping us to switch off our overloaded brains for a minute so we feel better soon takes us on a downward spiral! But what if you didn’t need to do that? What if you could overcome the negative impact of early childhood experiences and develop healthy strategies instead? That’s what these sessions are all about! Understanding why we use Cannabis, what happens when we do, and learning healthier strategies which improve our quality of life for good!
Understanding why we may need to ‘self-medicate’ and what happens when we do.
REALLY understanding cannabis - without any unhelpful myths or fables!
Learning heathier ways of overcoming the impact of negative childhood experiences and how these can become a way of life.
Sharing the evidence base for this information, giving confidence in the hope provided.
